Data Deletion Instructions

Pattern (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. If you have used Pattern and connected your Instagram or TikTok account, you have the right to request deletion of all data we have collected through that connection. This page explains what data we collect, how to request its deletion, and what to expect after submitting a request.

1. What Data We Collect via Connected Platforms

When you connect your Instagram or TikTok account to Pattern, we may collect and store the following information:

  • Basic profile information — Your username, display name, profile picture URL, and account ID from the connected platform.
  • Content metadata — Post/video URLs, captions, titles, timestamps, and engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, views, saves, reach) from your connected accounts.
  • Generated analysis data — AI-generated strategy reports, creator models, content scores, intelligence reports, and recommendations derived from your content. This data is produced by our AI processing providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) and stored in our database.
  • Authentication tokens — OAuth tokens used to maintain your connection. These are revoked on the platform side immediately upon disconnection or deletion.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data in two ways:

Option A: Use the form below

Submit the form on this page with the email address associated with your Pattern account. You will receive a confirmation code for tracking your request.

Option B: Email us directly

Send an email to stephen@getpattern.io with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account.

Option C: Disconnect from within the app

If you are logged in, go to Settings → Connected Accounts and click “Disconnect” on your connected account. This will immediately revoke access on the platform side and begin the data deletion process.

3. What Happens After Your Request

  • We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
  • All data associated with your account, including all AI-generated analysis and derived data, will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
  • Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for service improvement purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Deletion Request Status

If you submitted a request and received a confirmation code, you can check the status of your deletion request by emailing stephen@getpattern.io with your confirmation code. We will respond within 48 hours with an update.

5. Submit a Deletion Request

By submitting this form, you are requesting the permanent deletion of all data associated with your account. This action cannot be undone.
